How we collect, use, and protect your information when you build a profile, get matched, and join practice sessions.
Last updated: 17 July 2026
1. Introduction
PlayPractices Pty Ltd ("PlayPractices", "we", "us", or "our") operates a platform that helps gamers find practice partners and organise recurring practice sessions. This policy explains what information we collect, why we collect it, and the choices you have. It applies to everyone who creates a profile or uses playpractices.com.
By using PlayPractices, you agree to the collection and use of information as described here. If you don't agree with any part of this policy, please don't use the platform.
2. Information we collect
We collect information in three ways: what you give us directly, what we gather automatically, and what comes from linked third-party accounts.
- Profile information — your display name, email address, games you play, rank or skill level, preferred role, timezone, availability, and communication preferences.
- Usage information — pages you visit, features you use, session invitations sent and received, and general device and browser information.
- Communications — messages you send through the platform's matching and session tools, and any support requests you raise with us.
- Linked platform data — if you connect a game or voice platform account to make matching easier, we receive the information that connection is set up to share, such as a public username or rank.
3. How we use your information
We use the information above to operate and improve the platform, specifically to:
- Match you with practice partners based on skill, role, availability, and stated goals.
- Operate session scheduling, reminders, and shared strategy notes.
- Maintain community standards, including reviewing reports of no-shows or misconduct.
- Respond to support requests and communicate important account or policy updates.
- Understand how the platform is used so we can fix problems and prioritise improvements.
We do not sell your personal information, and we do not use your practice session content to build advertising profiles.
4. Voice communication and session data
Voice rooms are provided to help your practice group communicate. We do not permanently record voice sessions. Session metadata — such as who attended, when a session started and ended, and any written notes your group adds — is stored so your practice log stays useful over time.
5. Cookies and similar technologies
We use a small number of cookies to keep you signed in, remember your preferences, and understand aggregate usage of the site. You can control cookies through your browser settings; disabling them may affect parts of the matching and session tools.
6. Third-party services
We rely on a limited number of third-party services to run the platform, such as hosting, email delivery, and voice infrastructure providers. These providers only receive the information needed to perform their function and are not permitted to use it for their own purposes.
7. Data retention
We keep profile and session information for as long as your account is active. If you delete your account, we remove your profile and personal information within a reasonable period, except where we need to retain limited records for legal, security, or dispute-resolution purposes.
8. Your rights
Depending on where you live, you may have the right to access, correct, export, or delete your personal information, and to object to certain uses of it. You can manage most of this directly from your account settings, or by contacting us using the details below.
9. Children's privacy
PlayPractices is intended for users aged 16 and over. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under this age. If you believe a child has created an account, please contact us so we can review and remove it.
10. International users and data transfers
PlayPractices is operated from Australia, and information may be processed in Australia or in other countries where our service providers operate. Where information is transferred internationally, we take reasonable steps to keep it protected consistent with this policy.
11. Changes to this policy
We may update this policy as the platform evolves. If we make material changes, we'll update the date at the top of this page and, where appropriate, let you know directly.
12. Contact us
